What you will be doing:
1. Coordinate a team of Assessment Officers in the effective, high-quality and customer-centric delivery of examinations services across the University.
2. Support the smooth-running of examinations and similar assessments (including programmes specific examinations, e.g. OSCEs).
3. Lead on the production of university examination timetables and schedules
4. Coordinate the operation of overseas examinations, ensuring that requests are handled in line with University policy, coordinating overseas venues and handling arrangements for papers and scripts.
5. Coordinate all arrangements for the production of examination papers, ensuring high quality assurance and accuracy.
6. Coordinate examination invigilation, including allocating, training and overseeing invigilators.
7. Coordinate the operation of University examination periods.
8. Ensure that examination procedures are strictly followed.
Qualifications/ experience:
9. Level 3 qualification, such A level or Access to Higher Education Diploma or equivalent experience.
10. Experience of working in a student facing service
11. Experience of using a variety of IT packages to a high standard, including word processing packages, spreadsheets and databases
