Summary
We are seeking a Service Manager to join our team at GMMH, for 111 helpline option 2 (mental health) In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting mental health patients and getting people help when they need it most. Your efforts will directly impact our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership, supervision, support, and consultation to staff within the NHS 111 option2 and 24/7 GMMH helpline team.
* Take the lead / offer support and guidance to team members on Safeguarding cases.
* Work alongside the Clinical Team Managers to provide strong operational and quality focused leadership.
* Implement quality improvement initiatives within the team with a focus on patient safety.
* To work collaboratively with other services and shareholders to ensure best outcomes for service users.
* Provide clinical leadership, supervision, support and consultation to the team and in line with relevant clinical pathway as outlined within the operational procedures.
* Manage and evaluate a clinical documentation in line with relevant clinical pathways as outlined within the operational procedure and will include: -
* a. Assessment
* b. To support the service with any developmental requirements exhibiting a clear understanding of the NHS forward view.
* c. Formulation of risk and safety planning.
* d. Therapeutic intervention as required.
* e. Signposting.
* f. Close working with all colleagues
* h. To support junior members of staff with non-judgmental bias
* Act as a shift co-ordinator ensuring all staff are fully supported within the NHS 111 option2 and 24/7 GMMH helpline team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Mental Health Service manager or similar role
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Familiarity with IT systems and documentation processes
* Leadership skills with the ability to motivate others (preferred)
* Understanding of care plans and patient management (highly desirable)
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in mental health support such as RMN or Social worker (preferred)

Contract length: 4 months
Pay: £24.45-£31.79 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
