Salary: £45,636-£57,937 + call out standby retainer & company van.

City Energy Solutions (CES) is a rapidly growing business. We generate electricity and provide heat directly to customers' homes from our energy centres via our district heating networks. CES is at an exciting and important time in its development, and we are looking for people with enthusiasm and energy to help us build a safe and sustainable business for the future.
Right now, we’re looking for 2 Maintenance Engineers to join our CES team based in the Southwest. Here you will complete plant room related maintenance activities with a balance of hands-on and management of appropriate tasks, for all mechanical, electrical issues impacting our District Heating Network (DHN) and communal heating schemes throughout Southwest England and potentially other UK areas.
The goal is to reduce unplanned downtime, keep our customers on supply 24/7, and improve asset performance while early identification of costs aids business planning.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform general plumbing and heating work (HVAC)
* Monitor energy centre and heat substation plant
* Follow correct working processes and record visit information accurately
* Ensure compliance with health and safety and PPE requirements
* Meet performance measures and KPIs set by management
* Support other teams to deliver services to CES’s customers
What We Need From You
* NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) with strong experience in plumbing, heating, mechanical, or electrical work
* Clean UK driving license
* Proficiency in IT systems, understanding risk assessments, procedures, and processes
* Ability to innovate and challenge existing processes for efficiency and performance improvements
* Contribution to site development through best practices and commercial improvements
* Capability to achieve E.ON’s competency levels, including SSOW and CSE
* Flexibility to cover an out-of-hours call-out rota
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with domestic gas boilers and relevant safety registration
* Experience with District Heating Networks
* Experience with large heat generation plants (CHP, Biomass)

This role involves covering an out-of-hours call-out rota from 5 pm to 8 am on weekdays and all weekends.
