We are actively seeking a Junior Designer across womenswear athleisure. This is to join a design-led fashion supplier to work across high volume successful retailers.
This is a great opportunity for a Junior Womenswear Designer to join a friendly team, supporting the development of commercially relevant product with a focus on leisure, performance and fashion jersey. The role works closely with a Senior Designer, offering strong exposure to trend research, client presentation and end-to-end sample development.
This role is based in London and offers hybrid working.
Main Responsibilities will include:
1. Producing seasonal and weekly trend and catwalk research, identifying key silhouettes, fabrics and design details, and reacting quickly to emerging trends.
2. Supporting and presenting to clients, selling in design direction and responding to briefs, creating moodboards.
3. Building relationships with client Buyers and Designers, sharing inspiration, receiving briefs and supporting sample development aligned to the agreed direction.
4. Creating designs and detailed technical packs under the guidance of the Senior Designer.
5. Briefing tech packs to overseas production teams and factories, answering queries and chasing developments to ensure high-quality samples are delivered to critical dates and sign offs.
