What are we looking for?
Volunteer Carbon & Sustainability Researchers/Experts Audit and assess existing sources in the database; Audit and verify existing quantified data; Research sources where data is missing or incomplete, Development of frameworks, models and tools to ensure consistency and accuracy; Work with the team to refine methodologies. Essential Competencies Expertise in assessing and/or verifying the quantification of carbon or other environmental impacts; Understanding of Life Cyle Analysis; Working knowledge of IT systems commensurate with the role; Methodical with attention to detail; Able to work as part of a team remotely and unsupervised; Able to manage own workload.

Our app is being designed to help individuals and communities reduce their expenses while living more sustainably. By providing practical advice and small, achievable changes, the app helps users cut household bills and reduce their carbon footprint. It will include features to encourage and reward engagement and friend referrals/sharing, including gamification. We're looking for UK-based people with expertise in assessing and/or verifying the quantification of carbon or other environmental impacts based on desktop research. The role involves using secondary sources to audit and verify the quantities of carbon etc saved as a result of lifestyle choices. Your vital contribution will provide the expertise needed to complement the more generalist researchers and ensure consistency and accuracy. Ensuring this groundbreaking app can have a real impact on our planet's future. As a Carbon/Sustainability expert your tasks, will involve conducting desktop research, collating and interpreting data, developing models, and compiling databases to support the app's development.
