Associate Teacher – Okehampton
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel is working with secondary schools in the Okehampton area to recruit Associate Teachers. This flexible role is well suited to Cover Supervisors, Early Career Teachers, or qualified teachers (QTS) who are looking to gain classroom experience, reduce workload, or build confidence across different school settings.
The Role:
* Supporting learning across a range of subjects and year groups
* Delivering pre-planned lessons or providing classroom supervision
* Maintaining positive behaviour and a productive learning environment
* Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff
* Full-time and part-time opportunities available
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds QTS, is an ECT, or has experience as a Cover Supervisor
* Is confident managing a classroom and engaging pupils
* Is adaptable and comfortable working across different classes
* Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Holds, or is willing to obtain, an Enhanced Child DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
