About the role:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Social Worker to join a Adult Learning Disability Team in South Wales on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities across the county. 
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will support individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives, promoting wellbeing, inclusion, and personal choice in line with the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.
Key Responsibilities
 1. Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews in partnership with individuals, carers, and other professionals.
 2. Promote strengths-based practice and person-centred approaches.
 3. Safeguard adults at risk in line with local and national safeguarding procedures.
 4. Work collaboratively with health, housing, education, and voluntary sector partners to deliver integrated support.
 5. Maintain accurate case records and contribute to service development.
 6. Participate in team meetings, supervision, and continuous professional development.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated professional with:
 7. A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent).
 8. Social Care Wales registration (or eligibility to register).
 9. Knowledge of relevant legislation
 10. Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities (desirable but not essential).
 11. Excellent communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
 12. A commitment to promoting independence, rights, and choice.
 13. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
