As a Retail Manager, you will join an incredible team and support them to encourage sales, provide excellent customer service, and uphold the highest standards of stock and store presentation.
You will be responsible for:
* Leading store operations by bringing energy and vision to create a memorable shopping experience.
* Utilizing your eye for design and style to curate donated products through effective visual merchandising, feature displays, and strong commercial windows to drive sales and footfall.
* Staying up to date with the latest fashion trends and local market demands, identifying opportunities for growth.
* Managing staff and volunteers, including recruiting, training, and supporting them to ensure the effective operation of the store.
* Engaging with customers and coaching volunteers and staff to have meaningful conversations, encouraging donations, signing up customers for our loyalty scheme, and promoting our charity.
* Meeting sales targets and managing costs within budgets.
* Handling financial reporting, cash, daily banking, and security procedures.
* Processing donated goods according to standards and pricing them in line with charity guidelines.
Key Criteria:
* Solid retail experience, preferably in fashion or clothing.
* Experience in managing a team; managing volunteers is an advantage.
* Understanding of retail merchandising and display techniques.
* Experience with cash handling and financial procedures, including sales records.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
* Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
* Knowledge of health and safety procedures in retail.
