The Role:
Working as a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll be working on a 1:1 basis with children who are either disengaged or require additional support in the classroom. You’ll work closely with the school’s SENCO and the class teacher, who will support you and liase with you regularly regarding best practice and strategies that will help your pupils effectively.

9. Minimum rate of pay – From £70 Per day
10. Hours – 8:30am-3:30pm (term time only)
Supply Experience, Training and Qualifications
11. You must have at least 6 weeks experience working with children and young people. Experience with some SEN is desirable.
12. Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
13. Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.
To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;

15. Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
16. Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
17. Provide two professional child related references.
