Overview
Our cleaning role includes following impact cleaning modules, maintaining high standards of window cleaning, and wearing the correct uniform and PPE during shifts. You will be informed by your supervisor which tasks to undertake each day.
Responsibilities
* Ensure you are following the impact cleaning modules and carry out window cleaning activities to the highest standards.
* Wear the correct uniform and PPE, ensuring it is serviceable and clean.
* Clean, maintain and store all cleaning equipment correctly; report faulty equipment to your supervisor/line manager.
* Attend training as required by your supervisor/manager.
* Provide excellent customer service to visitors and clients; communicate effectively with your team and manager.
* Clean windows and related areas across assigned sites (e.g., main entrances, piazza, skywalk, atrium, concourse offices, restaurant windows, glass doors, and portholes in exhibition halls and public circulation areas).
* Clean bus stop shelters and signage around the NEC site; use extension poles, jet wash, cherry pickers, and scissor lifts as required for high-level cleaning.
* Ensure all glass is cleaned to a smear-free standard, including frames and removal of residue and foreign matter; comply with any other reasonable instructions.
* Support customer service by dealing politely and courteously with requests for help, information, advice, or queries from visitors, event planners, and clients, always representing OCS positively.
Shift Pattern
This is a casual contract with shifts available to cover sickness, annual leave, holidays, training, and busy periods. On-site shifts run across Monday to Sunday from 6:00am until 2:00pm.
