The A Side: A Day in The Life This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract position within the Global Finance team reporting to the Senior Director Global Finance Reporting. The Global Financial Reporting team is responsible for: the consolidation of the global operating company results, review of the financial reporting of the operating companies, communicating the results to the external market and providing analysis and presentations on group financial reporting to management. The team also closely supports the UMG CFO and UMG Board, and provides assistance to the Heads of Finance in the operating companies globally. As a manager within the team, the role will focus on the preparation, analysis, review and presentation of the Group Management accounts to senior management. The manager will also play a critical role in the management of the month-end timetable and related processes, providing assistance of a technical accounting nature to operating companies across the Group, implementation and monitoring of control environment improvements and maintenance of a Key Transaction register to support all material group reporting positions. Fulfilling these key responsibilities will require managing a team of Global Reporting Analysts and liaising closely with the External Reporting team, treasury function, FP&A analysis team and senior management.
