User Researcher - Government (Remote - 2 Days On-Site)
Rate: £350 - £400 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Mostly Remote, with visits to Telford twice a month
Duration: 6 months
Clearance Required: BPSS
We are looking for a User Researcher to support all phases of work for a Government Digital Service (GDS) project. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major government digital service and work alongside a dynamic team, while influencing key decisions with robust data insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis: Collaborate with Performance Analysts to interpret performance data from digital journeys, support channels, and other sources.
2. Research Design & Experimentation: Design and conduct A/B tests and controlled experiments to evaluate service changes, ensuring statistical validity and actionable results.
3. Qualitative Integration & Triangulation: Integrate qualitative insights with quantitative findings to ensure multi-source evidence for decision-making.
4. Reporting & Communication: Produce concise weekly reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
5. Governance & Best Practices: Ensure compliance with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and ethical research practices while advocating for evidence-based decision-making.
