Quality Assurance Lead - Sidcup

Sidcup Operations plays a pivotal role within the CCEP network, producing around 50% of the GB SKU portfolio. The site offers a one stop shop to the GB Market with a range of packages that are single sourced from Sidcup, such as the wide portfolio range of small cans. Across their 7 manufacturing lines the site can produce 480,000 cans every hour, 96,000 PET bottles every hour and 48,000 Glass bottles. There are currently around 300 employees across Manufacturing, QESH and Engineering, experience here can lead to excellent career opportunities both in Sidcup and further afield across other GB sites and Pan-European locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, develop and coach the Lab Technicians/ Technical operators / Team leaders to ensure maximisation of individual and team performance.
* Support Production Managers/ Team leaders for correct management of all Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health topics through advice and training of all members within the Business unit / Area
* Manage the complaints process affecting their Business unit / Area from: opening and executing the investigation, establishing Action Plans to avoid repetitive issues and ensure its implementation
* Support all QESH audits within the Business unit / Area, preparing the Action Plans from the audits observations and ensure its implementation
* Support and participate with the Engineering & Technology department in New Investments or initiatives within the Business unit / Area
* Manage and track QESH KBI’s within the Business unit / Area and implement improvement actions when they are off track
* Participate in Operational Excellence projects as required
* Provide Quality Data as and when required
* Monthly data reconciliation
* Participate in Quality Audits and inspections
* Participate in Quality/ QESH related training
* Other required responsibilities relating to QESH functions
Experience Preferred
* Operation in a FMCG production laboratory, preferably in the beverage industry
* Basic microbiological knowledge
* Food safety Knowledge
Qualifications required Science (e.g. chemistry, pharmacy, biology) degree or equivalent
