The Role An independent insurance business is looking for a Commercial Business Development Executive to join their growing team in Warwick.
The position is focused on developing new commercial insurance opportunities, managing relationships with prospective clients and helping grow specialist scheme business. Youll work alongside experienced account handlers and broking support teams to convert leads and deliver excellent service to clients.
Key Responsibilities Proactively identifying and developing new commercial insurance business opportunities
Contacting potential clients through telephone and email outreach
Preparing insurance quotations and arranging meetings with prospective customers
Developing both commercial accounts and specialist scheme business
Reviewing existing client accounts and identifying opportunities to expand cover
Following up leads and enquiries received via the company website
Maintaining strong relationships with clients and prospects
Working closely with internal teams to support the sales process
Skills & Experience Essential Requirements
35 years experience working within the UK insurance sector
Experience within commercial insurance or a related insurance role
Proven new business development ability
Confidence generating opportunities via phone and email
Experience building and managing client relationships
Full UK driving licence
Nice to Have
Cert CII qualification or currently working towards it
Experience within a high-volume outbound or call centre environment
