As we continue to expand, we’re excited to welcome a motivated and compassionate Therapeutic Engagement Worker to our team. What You'll Be Doing As a Therapeutic Engagement Worker, you’ll be at the forefront of the PTP, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day delivery of this vital service. You will: Act as the first point of contact for incoming Requests for Support, helping to understand presenting needs and gather meaningful insights from Children, Young People and families. Build positive, trusting relationships that help empower young people to share their stories, needs and aspirations. Work closely with therapists and providers to ensure Children and Young People are matched appropriately and transitions into therapy are seamless. Keep accurate, thoughtful records that support effective reporting and high‑quality outcomes. Deliver step‑up or step‑down one‑to‑one sessions where needed. Contribute to team meetings, provider newsletters, and the ongoing development of our wellbeing and therapeutic projects. Play an active role in promoting safeguarding, inclusion, and high‑quality person‑centred practice. What We're Looking For You’ll be someone who is: A natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Organised, proactive, and confident managing a busy caseload. Passionate about mental health, wellbeing, and early intervention. Able to work independently but also collaborate brilliantly with colleagues and partners. Values‑driven, empathetic, and respectful of the diverse communities we serve. Comfortable using systems and tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and our internal platforms. Experience in therapeutic work or the voluntary sector is advantageous, but we welcome those with a mixture of professional training and lived experience too. A Level 2 counselling skills qualification (or willingness to obtain one) is essential.
