Job Description Our client are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager (Civils or Mechanical Bias) to join the team, working closely with major clients including Southern Water, Thames Water, and other Tier 1 construction partners. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle within the water sector, managing a variety of projects that differ in scale and complexity. You will lead a dedicated team of technical professionals focused on delivering high-quality solutions that meet the clients’ expectations. About the Role: As a Project Manager, having prior knowledge of the wastewater industry and experience within the construction sector is essential. Our client are looking for someone with a practical, adaptable mindset who embraces innovation and is eager to help bring forward-thinking technologies to life. Key Requirements: Previous experience in project management within the water sector. Candidates who are stepping up from a Project Engineer position can be considered. An overall MEICA understanding would be advantageous, however the majority of work will be mechanical & civils biased A candidate with previous experience managing multiple schemes simultaneously would be of interest, often high volume but smaller project values. Understanding of wastewater systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly organised with excellent time management Proficient in using IT systems and tools Core Responsibilities: Acting as the main point of contact for clients Conducting site surveys Managing tender processes Contributing to design stages Handling procurement tasks Overseeing planning and project execution Preparing final project documentation and handovers Site visits and travel will be a requirement of this role.
