PE-Backed Vertical SaaS | Hybrid – Guildford HQ | Up to £120k base + commission + equity participation

We are partnering with a market-leading, private-equity-backed vertical SaaS business at a defining point in its growth journey.

With a strong market position, loyal customer base and long‑standing industry presence, the business is now evolving into a more modern, commercially-driven SaaS organisation. Significant investment has already gone into rebranding, systems, CRM and leadership capability — with the next phase focused on accelerating commercial growth.

This is a high‑impact VP Revenue role, reporting directly to the Managing Director, with responsibility for building a more scalable and effective go‑to‑market function.

The business is looking for a hands‑on commercial leader who can combine strategic thinking with execution — someone capable of shaping market positioning, driving pipeline generation, improving commercial rigour and leading key customer opportunities.

The role will oversee sales and marketing activity, while also helping evolve the broader commercial function as the business scales.


What You’ll Be Responsible For

* Building pipeline and commercial momentum across both new and existing customers
* Leading strategic customer opportunities and complex commercial discussions
* Improving messaging, positioning and go‑to‑market effectiveness
* Bringing greater structure and visibility to pipeline management and forecastingHelping shape marketing direction within a relationship‑led industry
* Developing and mentoring the existing commercial team
* Acting as a key commercial voice within the senior leadership team


Who This Role Is For

This role will suit a commercially‑minded revenue leader who enjoys building as much as scaling.

You’re likely to bring:

* Experience leading sales or revenue functions within B2B SaaS or technology businesses
* A player‑coach mentality with the ability to stay close to customers and deals
* Experience operating in scaling, PE‑backed or founder‑led environments
* Strong commercial instincts around positioning, pipeline creation and growth strategy
* Exposure to legacy/on‑premise customer environments transitioning toward SaaS or cloud models
* A practical, hands‑on approach with the drive to build momentum and deliver results
