The Head of Customer Technical Support (HCTS) role is pivotal in the "customer focus" transformation of the Heidelberg Materials Concrete technical team. This high-profile role will ensure the intricate organisational and change management requirements are delivered by creating a high performing team with a dynamic and aspirational Technical Customer Support culture.
* The HCTS will be a role model for the Heidelberg Materials values and will attentively support the organizations cultural change journey.
* The HCTS will successfully manage the national technical customer support team.
* The HCTS is responsible for promoting and optimising Concrete technical sales/specification opportunities nationally to drive volume and margin growth - with particular focus on value adding special products and technical customer support via expert technical knowledge/data.
* In order to achieve these objectives, the HCTS will engage with existing internal personnel and external customers using multiple channels, including digital platforms, plant/site visits and customer visits/presentations.
* Develop and maintain product reference literature and concrete technology training packages.
* Produce and supply customer data packs for Concrete/Materials/Carbon. Lead the Heidelberg Academy concept and deliver employee and customer product sessions.
* Drive customer specification support opportunities to create value adding sales and customer loyalty. Optimise SAP and other system configurations to improve product generation, quotation turnaround, sales and reporting processes.
