Job Description:
Our client is, without doubt, one of the most interesting, diverse and dynamic businesses we work with. Following a significant investment and due to sustained and continued growth they are looking for an incredible leader to help head up their award-winning travel business.
The role is to lead all the Ops teams in different countries throughout Europe, manage the customer journey and also to add value on the exec. With continued considerable investment and ambitious growth plans this role is an exciting three to five year 'project'.
The culture is down-to-earth, people driven and engaging. You will be based (nominally) at their London support office but you must be able to travel extensively, throughout Europe, for the role.
You will:
1. Have significant multi-site ops experience, gained in the travel or leisure sector
2. Want to travel extensively - this role needs flexibility around the European holiday season - April and September especially
3. Be able to motivate, inspire and lead a team of diverse leaders, with different cultures and backgrounds in many different countries
4. Have experience of managing the customer journey from booking to re-booking
5. Want to work for a PE backed business with a clear growth and exit strategy that you will be able to benefit from financially - there is equity with the role
6. Be capable of being operationally strong but also highly strategic - 60% of the role is ops/40% strategy and building significant strategic initiatives around NPS/CX/projects/growth/integration will be key
You must:
1. Have significant experience in the travel, tourism or leisure sector
2. Be flexible around travel dates and be prepared to work outside of the UK for a few weeks a year
3. Be comfortable commuting to or being present at the support office near London
