​ ​ Obsessed with social media? Know your Reels from your Threads and your trends from your TikTok sounds? This might be the role for you. We’re looking for a Social Media Executive to join our growing team and help bring brands to life across social platforms. This is the perfect opportunity for someone at the start of their career who lives and breathes social media, understands what makes content perform, and wants to learn how social fits into wider integrated campaigns. You’ll work alongside strategists, creatives and account teams to deliver social media that connects with audiences and delivers real results. The Job No two days are the same at BIG, but to give you an idea of what you’ll be doing, you will be: ​ Supporting the delivery of social media activity across multiple client accounts ​ Scheduling and publishing content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook ​ Monitoring and responding to comments, messages and community interactions ​ Assisting with content planning and monthly content calendars ​ Supporting campaign delivery across integrated marketing activity ​ Gathering performance data and contributing to reports and insights ​ Keeping a close eye on trends, cultural moments and platform updates You’ll also get the opportunity to join client calls, contribute ideas and develop your strategic thinking as you grow within the role. To be successful in this role, you will be someone who Is naturally curious about social media, trends and digital culture Takes ownership of tasks rather than waiting to be told what to do ​ Isn’t afraid to ask questions and learn quickly ​ Thrives in a busy environment where priorities move fast ​ Enjoys solving problems and helping clients grow Takes pride in delivering work that is organised, accurate and on time Understands that great agency work comes from teamwork and collaboration This role suits someone who is positive, proactive and ready to get stuck in. Skills & Tools Experience or familiarity with: Social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X) ​ Social scheduling tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, Later or similar) ​ Platform analytics and performance insights ​ Google Workspace or Microsoft Office ​ Project management tools like Asana, Monday or Trello ​ ​ Bonus points if you have: Experience running your own social account, content page or side project ​ Internship or placement experience in marketing or social media If you’re motivated, curious and ready to build your career in social media, we want to hear from you.
