We are
looking for a professional Host or Hostess to join our team and be the first
point of contact
for our
guests. You will need to be at the service of our guests from the moment they
arrive till they
leave and
ensure they have an excellent experience. Your contribution will directly
impact the
quality of
the ambiance and atmosphere we offer our customers, therefore drive footfall
and
profits.
Host/Hostess
responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and
escorting
customers
to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid
organizational and people
skills to
make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they
arrive till
their
departure. You should also be available to work in shifts.

The Role
·
Welcome
guests to the venue
·
Escort
customers to assigned dining or bar areas
·
Provide
menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name
·
Gather
customer’s feedback
·
Monitor
customer satisfaction while dining and alert the area's responsible staff.
·
Greet
customers upon their departure.
·
Making
menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information
with restaurant patrons
·
To assist
the Restaurant Manager and their Assistants in keeping the morale of the Team
up through social and educational events.
·
Coordinate
with wait staff about available seating options
·
Maintain a
clean reception area
·
Cater to
guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
·
Answer
incoming calls and address customers’ queries
·
Assist
wait staff as needed
·
Occasionally
taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages
·
Good
knowledge of the menu and specials.
Skills & Competences
·
We up
skill and train people with personalities so no previous experience is
required BUT experience in the personality department is key!

A good
understanding of IT and POS systems
·

communication skills

a first or second language (spoken, written and reading)

education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
