I have a physical disability and require full support with all aspects of daily living to promote my independence and achieve a good quality of life. I enjoy outdoor activities such as watching football matches and socialising with my family and friends. Tasks will include supporting with my personal care, catheter care, nutrition, all moving and handling, domestic chores and enabling me to access the local community. Full training will be provided. ABOUT YOU The right candidate will be calm and have a genuine caring nature, good communication skills and a sense of humour. Due to the nature of the care and support I require, individuals experienced in hoisting and catheter care would be preferred, however, full training will be provided. Car drivers with a full, clean driving license are essential, and candidates must meet the requirements for motor insurance purposes. I require 24/7 care and so various shift patterns are available: Day hours: 8am to 8pm Waking night hours: 8pm to 8am BENEFITS In return for your dedication, youll receive a competitive rate of pay in addition to: 5.6 weeks holiday per year (pro-rata for part-time positions).
