Job Description:
Are you interested in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health issues? Do you want to build experience working with complex needs alongside trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists?
An SEN school in Windsor, catering to children aged 8-18 with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs, is seeking a passionate and caring Mental Health Assistant. The role involves supporting academic learning, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour, with a focus on a therapeutic approach. Training will be provided, and experience is desirable but not essential. Graduates in Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
This position offers the chance to work closely with on-site therapists and psychologists, shadow sessions, and gain valuable experience in special needs and mental health support. It is ideal for aspiring educational or occupational psychologists, therapeutic support workers, or SEN teachers.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic, resilient, and compassionate, ready to understand and support students with complex needs.
