This is an excellent opportunity for an Audit Senior to join a supportive and progressive audit team, working with a varied portfolio including SMEs, partnerships, charities, and corporate clients. The role offers exposure to complex engagements, opportunities to mentor junior staff, and genuine flexibility to support work–life balance alongside continued professional development.
Responsibilities
* Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion for a varied client portfolio
* Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout audit engagements
* Develop a strong understanding of client businesses and identify potential risk areas
* Ensure audits are delivered in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
* Review work completed by junior team members and provide guidance where required
* Support managers and partners with the completion and finalisation of audit files
* Build and maintain strong client relationships across multiple sectors
* Contribute to continuous improvement in audit processes and team performance
Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified Part qualified is also considered
* Strong audit experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
* Experience leading audit assignments and supervising junior staff
* Good understanding of audit compliance requirements and quality standards
* Ability to identify and assess audit risks effectively
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
* Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous professional development
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
