Job Title: Shared Services Finance Manager Location: Winnersh (Hybrid Working Available) Company Type: Fast-Growth, Private Equity-Backed Business Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Business: We are partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed business based in Winnersh that is going through an exciting period of transformation. As part of their growth journey, they are looking to hire a Shared Services Finance Manager to take ownership of core finance operations and play a key role in driving process improvements across the function. This is a highly visible role within the organisation that will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, digging into the detail, and leading change. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management within the shared services function Evaluate and improve end-to-end processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and automation Lead and support finance transformation and change management initiatives across transactional finance Act as the escalation point for operational finance issues and provide hands-on support to resolve them Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit requirements Work closely with the Group Financial Controller and other senior stakeholders on finance integration projects, system enhancements, and strategic planning Support the development and upskilling of the shared services team Requirements: Proven experience managing shared services or transactional finance functions Strong understanding of finance operations and process improvement Excellent attention to detail with the ability to deep-dive into complex issues Experience delivering or supporting change management projects Strong stakeholder and team management skills Experience in a private equity-backed, scaling, or transformation-driven business is highly desirable Proficiency in finance systems and Excel; experience with ERP transitions or upgrades is a plus What's on Offer: Opportunity to join a high-growth, PE-backed business at a pivotal stage of its journey Hybrid working environment based in modern offices in Winnersh £400-500 Per day A chance to make a tangible impact on finance operations and process optimisation Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
