Position
Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Pay Rate: £32p/hour
Hours: 45 hours Weekly
Duration: 4 Weeks min
Responsibilities
Active (Pathways) Solutions are seeking skilled and motivated Scottish Power Authorised Mechanical Fitter with Lift Supervisor to join our team. You’ll be supporting a range of substation project in Glasgow contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of high-voltage mechanical works.
Requirements
* Valid and up-to-date documentation – including CSCS/ECS card, Safety Passport, and relevant Scottish Power Competent Person Authorisations, Lift Supervisor and First Aid Certificate
* ⚡ Proven substation experience – previous work on National Grid, Scottish Power or DNO sites is essential.
* Verifiable references – able to provide evidence of experience and competency within the substation or high-voltage industry.
Desirable Additional Qualifications
Having any of the following would be an advantage:
* IPAF (MEWP)
* Telehandler (CPCS or NPORS)
* PASMA
* First Aid
* Manual Handling
* Abrasive Wheels
* Other relevant industry-related courses
