We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and has the ability to promote positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers and staff alike. About the role As an LSA, you will: Work closely with class teachers and the SENco to support pupils with a range of needs. Provide targeted support to individuals or small groups, helping to deliver interventions and adapted learning. Build positive relationships with pupils to develop confidence, engagement, resilience and independence. Support the creation of a calm, safe, inclusive environment. Contribute to assessment and progress monitoring through observations and feedback. Support pupils at break and lunchtimes; supporting positive social interactions and encouraging inclusive play. Have good literacy and numeracy skills. Have an excellent understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding. We are looking for someone who: Is proactive and takes initiative in supporting learning. Has a strong work ethic and is committed, reliable and willing to contribute fully to school life. Has a positive, nurturing approach with children of all abilities and backgrounds. Is patient, flexible and has a good sense of humour. Is committed to inclusion and believes that every child belongs.
