Nursery Nurse (0-5 Years) About the Role We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and experienced Nursery Nurse to join our vibrant early years team in a school nursery setting in Wigan. Working with children aged 0-5 years, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality early years education and care in line with the EYFS framework, supporting children's development in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities Provide a safe, caring, stimulating environment that promotes learning through play and supports all areas of child development. Observe, assess, and record children's progress, contributing to individual learning plans and reporting to parents and senior staff. Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate, engaging activities linked to the EYFS. Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through consistent, trauma-informed approaches. Establish warm and responsive relationships with children and their families. Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times. Work collaboratively with colleagues, SEN specialists, and external professionals to support children with additional needs.
