The Job Role Details:
Reporting to the company Owner, as the Horticultural Spray Operator you will carry out fieldwork operations like groundwork, spraying, and weeding, and support the Owner in effective running of the horticultural operations.

1. Carry out spraying operations on 200Ha of brassica production, including all documentation and record keeping for legal and customer requirements.
2. Groundwork, weeding operations, and management of other contractors.
3. Operate farm machinery and equipment.
4. Support other farm operations - harvesting and yard work.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…
5. PA1, PA2, PA4 tickets.
6. Experience working in a horticultural or brassica farm operation.
7. Experience operating machinery and equipment.
8. IT literate.
9. Willing to work seasonal hours when required.
10. Self-starter, able to work under your own initiative.
11. Good working knowledge of Assurance schemes, and Pesticide legislation.
12. Good commercial understanding of, and interest in field vegetables.
