Job Title: History Teacher Location: Sheffield (S35) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Bring the past to life and help pupils understand the events that shaped the world today. As a History Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ understanding of historical events, critical thinking, and analytical skills within a structured classroom environment. Prime Responsibilities: Plan and deliver history lessons aligned with the curriculum. Encourage discussion, enquiry, and evidence-based thinking. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Support wider humanities initiatives within the school. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a History Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
