About The Role
At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Retail Assistant is essential to delivering excellent Customer Service. You will be a key team member, contributing to achieving branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and building strong customer relationships.
Main duties include:
* Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximizing sales where possible.
* Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders.
* Assist the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone and electronic queries as needed.
* Fully satisfy customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
* Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
* Contribute to a positive team environment while working towards personal sales and performance targets.
* Use the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge and enhance performance.
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in customer-facing areas of the branch.
* Build strong relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
* Represent the company professionally, promoting our values and maintaining a professional appearance.
* Work towards achieving relevant KPIs.
Working hours:
Average of 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday shifts.
About You
What you'll need to succeed:
* Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
* Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Positive approach to resolving customer queries.
* Confident with IT and computer systems.
* Ability to work well with others.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Knowledge of car parts or the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
* Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
