Role Overview: As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons across biology, chemistry, and physics, helping pupils to build understanding, problem-solving skills, and a love for scientific exploration. You will also encourage participation in practical experiments and STEM activities. As a Science Teacher, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons across various age groups. Promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and practical experimentation. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Manage behaviour effectively to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment. Support extracurricular STEM activities and science clubs where applicable. Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare. Requirements for Science Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is mandatory. Experience teaching Science across UK school setting. Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
