What You’ll Be Doing In this busy, varied and rewarding role, you’ll be the first point of contact for everyone who visits or calls the hospice. Your day could include: Greeting patients, families, visitors and colleagues with kindness and professionalism Handling incoming calls and helping people get the information or support they need Managing mail, deliveries and general reception admin Supporting individuals who may be distressed or bereaved, with sensitivity and compassion Processing donations and selling merchandise securely Working alongside — and helping to support — our incredible volunteers Providing admin and IT support to the wider Exec Support team Every day is different, and you’ll be part of a supportive team who will help you learn and grow. Who We’re Looking For You don’t need years of experience — just the right attitude and a willingness to learn. If you are: Excellent communicator, able to engage confidently with a wide variety of people Calm, organised and good at multitasking Confident using Microsoft Office 365 and general IT systems Compassionate and emotionally resilient A team player with a positive, flexible mindset …then this could be the perfect role for you.
