THE ROLE OF LUGGAGE PORTER
As Luggage Porter you will be a direct point of contact for guests in the lobby and there to provide any answers to questions they may have. Your tasks as Luggage Porter will include but will not be limited to:
To deliver an exceptional service to our guests ensuring they have a pleasant and comfortable stay with us.
To be available for any guest questions or queries regarding hotel amenities, transportations, the locality etc.
To assist guests with their luggage and delivering it to their rooms as promptly as possible.
Run errands for guests and employees.
To handle all guest luggage, packages, and parcels with the utmost care and attention to detail.
To liaise closely with the reception team and help where necessary.
To demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to work.
To be an ambassador for the Hotel as well as someone who embodies our values and service standards.
To be Ideally experiencedin a similarposition within a luxury4 or 5 starenvironmentis desirable
To have excellent level of English
To be excellent communicator and able to connect with all levels in the business with the ability to motivate your colleagues.
Effective organisationalskills;able to prioritise tasks and self-manage a workload
To have excellent personal presentation with a warm and welcoming personality.
To be friendly, approachable, and professional
To have a strong eye for any health and safety risks
To Have a strong eye for detail
To be comfortable doing a shift work, The main shifts are Early shift 07:00-15:30 and Late shift 14:30-23:00.
