ATC Training is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations and future growth of our organisation.
This is a hands-on leadership role within a small, fast-growing training provider, ideal for someone who thrives on improving systems, supporting people, and ensuring high-quality learning experiences.
As Operations Manager, you’ll oversee our core operational functions, ensuring that people, systems, processes, and quality standards work seamlessly together.
You’ll manage learner support, systems and administration, course delivery coordination, and internal quality processes—while working closely with senior leadership to support compliance, continuous improvement, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & People Management
* Oversee day-to-day operations across learner support, systems, marketing support, and delivery
* Line manage and support operational staff, including workload planning and development
* Act as a central coordination point between staff, tutors/assessors, and leadership
Quality & Compliance
* Manage internal quality assurance processes across learning delivery and assessment
* Ensure compliance with the awarding organisation and regulatory requirements
* Maintain accurate learner records and support external audits
Systems & Process Improvement
* Oversee effective use of systems such as the LMS and digital platforms
* Use data and reporting to identify risks and improvement opportunities
* Support automation and process optimisation to improve efficiency and scalability
Sales & Business Support
* Support enquiries, learner onboarding, and enrolment processes
* Work closely with marketing and learner support teams to improve conversion
* Contribute to capacity planning, course scheduling, and growth initiatives
About You:
You’ll be a proactive, organised professional with a strong operational background and a hands-on approach.
Essential:
* Experience in an operations or business management role (education or training preferred)
* Experience managing staff and coordinating workloads
* Strong digital skills, including LMS/CRM systems and Microsoft 365
* Training/teaching qualification (minimum Level 4)
* GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above or equivalent)
Desirable:
* Internal Quality Assurance / Internal Verifier qualification
* Management qualification

Salary
£34,500-£38,250 - depending on experience.
