A rare opportunity has opened up for an experienced Social Media Marketing Executive to join a well-respected business in the Chichester area. In this role, you'll take real ownership of social media across both trade and consumer audiences, guiding campaigns from the first idea and content plan through to launch, performance review and refinement. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager, not just delivering activity but helping shape a structured influencer programme and creating a consistent, engaging journey across all digital channels.
The Role:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll take ownership of day-to-day social media activity across multiple brands, managing everything from content planning through to performance review. This isn't reactive posting, its structured, purposeful marketing with clear objectives.
Shaping and Delivering Social Campaigns
* Developing social media campaigns aligned to launch calendars and trading priorities
* Managing both consumer and trade social channels across key platforms
* Planning content across short, medium and long-term cycles
* Creating engaging platform-native content, including short-form video and Reels
* Writing compelling copy and adapting tone of voice across different brands
* Briefing photography and video content to internal teams
* Ensuring content supports the full customer journey
Influencer & Community Growth
* Identifying and engaging relevant influencers aligned to brand strategy
* Managing influencer partnerships from outreach through to reporting
* Coordinating product seeding and giveaways
* Building authentic relationships that strengthen brand presence
Insight & Performance
* Tracking performance weekly and monthly, using data to refine campaigns
* Monitoring competitor and audience activity
* Supporting paid social campaigns that drive ecommerce growth
* Making confident, insight-led recommendations for improvement
You'll work closely with colleagues across marketing and retail partnerships, contributing to integrated campaigns that reach audiences wherever they engage.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will already be working within social media and will understand that meaningful results are driven by clear planning and structured delivery. This role requires someone who is comfortable working to defined marketing calendars, aligning activity to product launches and commercial priorities, and planning content weeks and months in advance. The ability to build purposeful content plans with clear objectives and measurable outcomes is essential. Creativity is important, but so is commercial awareness. The successful candidate will be as confident mapping out campaign schedules and analysing performance data as they are developing ideas and crafting content.
* Experience managing social media within an in-house marketing team
* Confidence working within structured marketing calendars and campaign frameworks
* A strong understanding of customer journeys and audience segmentation
* Analytical capability and confidence reporting on performance metrics
* Excellent copywriting and communication skills
* A methodical, organised approach with strong attention to detail

Additional Information:
This is a full-time, permanent role. To help you get to know the team, the brands and the way the business works, the position will be office-based initially. Once you're settled in, hybrid working will be available, with three days in the office and two from home.
Working hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Due to the location of the office, a full driving licence and access to your own transport will be required.
