On behalf of a leading accountancy firm, we are recruiting for a Finance Manager to assist the Finance Principle with the running of the firm’s finances, and ultimately be responsible for the accounting operations of the business. This is an internal role and doesn’t involve client work.
This growing three-office firm with over 200 staff, is dynamic and innovative, and requires a high-quality finance professional with a strong academic background who can demonstrate technical accounting knowledge, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The package will include:
* Annual Christmas Bonus equivalent to 1 week’s salary
* Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme (Employer: 5%; Employee: 3%) subject to eligibility

* Group Income Protection Scheme (non-contributory) following completion of 3 months service

As Finance Manager your responsibilities will include:
* Producing timely and reliable monthly management information reports for the Finance Principal and the board of management, investigating variances against budgets and providing analysis of differences
* Preparing annual budgets, half year and quarterly forecasts all with commentary
* Ensuring that all financial targets are met
* Supporting the Finance Principal and working together with multiple Principals and teams, as necessary, across the firm in order to deliver solutions.
* Support the Finance Principal to develop, document and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the firm to meet its financial and legal obligations
* Manage two direct reports
* Interpreting, analysing and presenting data in an accurate and commercial manner
