Part time | 15 hours per week over 3 days (Tues, Thurs and Sun) | 5 hours per day, between the hours of 09:00am-3:00pm | £12.21 per hour
This is a permanent, part-time position based at KEMP Bewdley Retail Shop: 14 Load Street, Bewdley DY12 2AE

Main duties and responsibilities
* Deliver high levels of customer service at all times.
* Thank all donors and offer every donor the opportunity to register for Gift Aid on stock or cash donations.
* Support the manager to deliver a well presented, full and clean shop.
* Support the manager in the delivery of in store promotions, events and changes to the shop floor layout to maximise income.
* Support the manager by accurately completing customer transactions on EPOS, end of day processes and banking.
* Support the manager in growing income, offering Lottery tickets for sale, taking part in fundraising initiatives in store and identifying high value/unusual items for eBay.
* Take all reasonable steps to reduce costs and minimise waste.
* To ensure Health & Safety policies/procedures are followed and safe working practices maintained.
* Work with all KEMP staff and volunteers to ensure the shop offers a friendly and welcoming environment to everyone.
* Support the manager with the recruitment, training and supporting volunteers.
* Undertake training and attend meetings as required.
* Fulfil mutually agreed additional duties as are deemed necessary.
* Positively promote and enhance the work of KEMP by communicating with donors and customers.
* Work flexibly across the trading week to support KEMP Retail.

Ability to commute/relocate:
* Bewdley DY12 2AE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
