We’re working with welcoming primary schools across Shropshire looking for experienced Teaching Assistants ready to jump into rewarding roles now and for September starts. Whether you love supporting phonics groups, helping children build confidence, or being the calm voice during a slightly chaotic glue-stick emergency, we’d love to hear from you.
These roles would suit experienced Primary Teaching Assistants who know how to build positive relationships, support learning, and bring a little warmth and patience to every school day.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
* Working alongside class teachers to keep learning engaging and accessible
* Providing 1:1 support and small group interventions
* Helping children build confidence both academically and socially
* Supporting classroom routines and behaviour management
* Being part of a friendly school team that genuinely values support staff
We’d love to hear from you if you:
* Have previous experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant
* Are confident supporting pupils across different primary age groups
* Bring patience, positivity, and a proactive attitude
* Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
* Have experience supporting SEND needs, interventions, or classroom learning
* Thrive in busy school environments where every day looks a little different
