A rapidly expanding hedge fund is looking to make their first Compliance Officer hire.
The firm have performed exceptionally well and have grown significantly in a short space of time. They are a high calibre, close-knit team with ambitious growth plans - this role presents a fantastic opportunity to be a part of that from an early stage.
They are looking to make their first Compliance Officer hire to run this function for the business. The remit is currently done by the COO, but due to increased demand they now need a permanent in house compliance professional. The role is completely generalist, covering everything from core compliance, monitoring and regulatory reporting, and trade compliance / market abuse. There is significant scope to build out the function and to hire a junior in future.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, in a buy-side firm. Exceptional candidates from consultancies and banks will also be considered. This is a truly unique position where the hire can expect an accelerated progression path to a Head of Compliance position.
My client have a strong budget for this position, ideally looking to pay up to £90k as a base salary. Exceptional performance has meant that staff here receive bonuses far greater than many larger firms in the industry.
