Clinical Assessment Specialist - Nurse Role

About the Role:
Meet face-to-face with applicants to review medical evidence, assess the permanence of their condition, and determine their percentage disablement. You will gather relevant information from GPs, other healthcare professionals, or services as required to support the applicant's application. Compile comprehensive reports, including detailed histories, justifications, and conclusions to aid the decision-making process of the Victims' Payments Board.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments of applicants' conditions
* Gather and interpret clinical information, along with any supporting evidence
* Develop comprehensive reports to inform the decision-making process
Critical Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience as a nurse or allied health professional
* Fully registered with the NMC without sanction or conditions of practice
* Demonstrable background in Mental Health/Psychiatric speciality
* Ability to work at pace, set boundaries, manage conversations, and maintain timescales
