Lecturer - Motor Vehicle

Salary: Up to £40,324 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: 35 per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Site: Accrington and Rossendale College

The Exciting Role

This is a new opportunity for a Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our student-focused team. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in delivering Motor Vehicle qualifications. The successful candidate will be primarily based at Accrington & Rossendale College but may need to travel across sites.


What You Will Be Doing

* Developing the Motor Vehicle curriculum and employer relationships to support industry placements (for candidates with relevant experience).
* Teaching on other Motor Vehicle programmes as required (Entry level to Level 3).
* Planning and preparing high-quality teaching materials as directed by your Line Manager.
* Developing and sharing resources across the College.
* Assessing students regularly to monitor progress.


What We Are Looking For

* 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in a related subject.
* Recognised teaching and assessor qualification or willingness to achieve this within three years.
* A higher degree or advanced qualification.
* Assessor and Verifier Qualifications.
