Job Title: Project Electrical Engineer Location: Northwest England (Including Bolton, Manchester, Blackpool and surrounding areas) Salary: £18.00 p/h - £19.37p/h mileage paid Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Sector: Facilities Management / Electrical Installations About the Role: We are working in partnership with a fast-growing, forward-thinking FM company seeking a skilled and proactive Project Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation delivering high-quality electrical installation projects across a wide portfolio of commercial sites in the Northwest. Key Responsibilities: Deliver end-to-end electrical installation projects across sites in Bolton, Manchester, Blackpool, and nearby areas. Carry out electrical works including power distribution, lighting, containment, and other commercial installations. Work closely with project managers and clients to ensure installations are completed to spec, on time and within budget. Perform site assessments, pre-works surveys, and contribute to RAMS documentation. Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery. Ensure all works are compliant with the latest IET wiring regulations (BS 7671) and company standards. Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and site reports. Participate in project handovers and commissioning processes. Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (BS 7671). JIB Gold card required or JIB approved Gold card required Experience delivering electrical installation projects within the commercial or public sector environment. Strong understanding of health & safety practices and ability to contribute to RAMS. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Desirable: Experience working within Facilities Management or with FM service providers. Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) qualification.
