We are seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join our team at HMP Chelmsford, a category B & Adult/Male prison.

HMP Chelmsford operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to keep it functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, your role is crucial in ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, families, and the wider community.
As a Site Manager, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment.

We are a Ministry of Justice Business providing critical services to HMPPS, seeking a Site Manager with experience in facilities management, budget management, staff management, and ideally, experience in a prison or military environment. Recognised apprenticeships or two years of relevant experience are required. IOSH qualification and good health & safety knowledge are desirable.
