Working to practice protocols, the successful candidate will take blood samples from patients as required by doctors or nurses. This includes INR near-patient testing and monitoring.
Appropriate training will be provided if required. The role also involves undertaking additional healthcare-related duties such as blood pressure monitoring, in accordance with protocols and after completing necessary training.
The candidate will maintain accurate computer records, actively participate in clinical and practice meetings, and ensure the Treatment Room remains clean and tidy in line with Infection Control standards.
Other responsibilities include processing and recording specimens for courier collection and undertaking additional duties as required.
Please note that flexibility is essential, as the role involves providing cover for holidays and sickness.
