Assistant Merchandiser - Online £30,000-£40,000 SW London – on-site My client is currently recruiting an experienced Online Assistant Merchandiser to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Merchandising and Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring stock levels are in line with sales expectations. Responsibilities Curate and optimise product listings, including titles, descriptions, and imagery, to maximise visibility, conversion rates, and sales performance. Conduct thorough keyword research to enhance SEO and increase rankings and traffic. Carry out competitor analysis to identify gaps and implement improvements in product presentation. Oversee the launch of new products across the websites and marketplaces. Monitor market trends, identifying opportunities to optimise listings, boost traffic, and improve conversion rates. Ensure products are nominated for upcoming calendar events Regular meetings with 3 PL retails to identify opportunities Campaign Management: Coordinate cross-platform promotions, ensuring consistent messaging and execution across all digital touchpoints. Run promotional offers in line with Market place trading calendars and sale events, managing setup, testing and deployment. Test and refine campaign elements, such as layouts, call-to-actions and pricing displays to maximise engagement and sales. Use analytics tools to report on campaign performance, identifying successes and areas for improvement. Stock Management and reporting: Work alongside Head of Merchandising to ensure stock levels are in line with sales expectations Analysing sales, stock and margin performance Ensure any promotions are subsequently analysed to understand impact on sales and net profit Users experience improvements: Lead initiatives to enhance website functionality, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Implement and manage tools and applications to improve the customer journey ensuring a seamless, user-friendly shopping experience. Utilise analytics platforms such as Google Analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive data-led improvements Assist in supporting in general day to day running of the office Understand Cin7 and Power BI Ensure Cin7 reflects any stock movements correctly Working alongside the team ensuring Bibles are correct and support with certifications This is an ideal role for an experienced Merchandise Assistant with hands-on proven experience in online merchandising looking to progress their career.
