Job Description
We’re looking for an Assistant Design Manager to join the Kier Places team based in London/South. Location: London/South. Hours: 40 hours per week. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Responsibilities
* Assist with reviewing design information and contractor’s design packages at all RIBA stages.
* Support the establishment of the design team and align scope and accountabilities.
* Identify, record and mitigate design and project risks and opportunities.
* Support pricing assumptions to align with design development.
* Provide information and monitor activity to ensure construction aligns with approved design.
Qualifications
* Minimum of HND/HNC/T Level or equivalent (desirable).
* Good understanding of technical aspects of construction, including the RIBA plan of work and Building Regulations.
* Excellent communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Full driving licence (does not need to be UK specific).
