We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced theatres practitioner to step into a band 7 Charge Nurse/Sister role for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role offers a competitive salary of £52,970 - £63,591 per annum.

Role Overview
To support, coordinate, and actively assist in managing and organizing care within the Operating Department while leading a delegated team. The role involves ensuring quality perioperative care, providing clinical and managerial leadership, and includes the following responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering patient care
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
* Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of team members and oneself
* Promote evidence-based practice within scope
* Apply legislation, policies, and procedures correctly
* Respect patient dignity, privacy, wishes, and beliefs
* Participate in HR activities
* Support service development and initiatives
Skills & Experience
* Registered practitioner with valid NMC or HPC registration
* Mentorship certificate, Practice Assessor training, or equivalent experience
* Extensive postgraduate experience in operating theatres, particularly in the relevant specialty
* Significant post-registration experience, including at Band 6 or above
* Leadership experience within a team
* Thorough understanding of contemporary nursing and operating theatre practices
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
