Hospitality Events General Assistant - SE1
Reports to: Event Manager, Senior Events Manager

We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible individuals to join our team on a fixed-term contract until the end of January (with possibility of renewal).
This exciting role offers the opportunity to work a variety of hours each week, depending on business needs, with the potential for up to 60+ hours during peak times.
We are Events by Benugo, the events division of Benugo, based in the Southbank and found in locations all over central London.
We're all about creating incredible events tailored to our client’s individual requirements in some of London’s most amazing and unique venues.

ROLE PURPOSE:
To help make the delivery of each Event as smooth and successful as possible. To engage with guests, ensure efficiency and quality of service.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
General:
1. To work within Benugo/Clerkenwell Green policies and procedures at all times
2. To support Benugo/Clerkenwell Green vision around People, Product, Customers and Profitability
3. To engage with the team in a collaborative and constructive manner
4. To demonstrate a commitment to customer service excellence and deliver against Benugo/Clerkenwell Green service standard
Role Specific:
1. Delivering fantastic customer service and facilitating any guest requirements to the best of your ability
2. Assisting in the delivery and service of canapé receptions as well as sit down dinners and daytime catering, dependent on the Event requirements
3. Setting up the Event, and assisting the Event Manager with loading equipment into the venue if required
4. Laying up tables to standard both quickly and efficiently
5. Serving food and drinks to guests in the correct style
6. Enthusiastically and politely interact with guests as appropriate
7. To be polite, courteous and well presented at all times
8. Proactively resolve issues/complaints and involve Event Supervisor or Manager as needed
9. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, in line with Food Safety procedures
10. Work well within the team, assisting with other duties and responsibilities as and when required
11. To undertake staff training as and when necessary
