PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £24,500 - £32,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Join the BBC as a Contingent Workforce Advisor and play a key role in supporting the freelance community and wider business. You'll provide expert advice and support on contingent workforce queries, ensuring compliance with employment and tax legislation. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
* Provide policy and process advice to stakeholders across the BBC on contingent workforce matters.
* Manage a daily caseload of queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution in line with service level agreements.
* Maintain accurate audit trails and uphold high standards of compliance and confidentiality.
* Identify opportunities to improve and simplify existing practices and support change initiatives.
* Escalate complex issues to specialist teams where appropriate.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Strong understanding of governance, regulation, and compliance best practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
* Confident handling queries via the case management system, with strong communication skills.
* Analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret information and know when to escalate.

DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
* Knowledge of employment and tax law in relation to the contingent workforce.
